OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are a fine art floral studio based in Colorado. We specialize in weddings and events with an approach that is organic, timeless and modern. We believe in the beauty of each individual stem and love taking inspiration from nature. We have an eye for detail and revel in the delicate, the dainty and the unusual. Our designs are sourced from local farmers whenever possible and hand pulled by Annie herself. We love the thrill of the hunt, hence the name, and you can find us foraging for unexpected foliage and floral. We believe wholeheartedly in taking inspiration from the root up.
MEET ANNIE
Hi, I'm Annie! A chance opportunity to work with flowers fell into my lap a few years ago and I haven't looked back since! I have long had an obsession with design and feel strongly about a well balanced palette that incorporates color, scale, texture and form. I also love puttering around in the garden and lived in England for many years where I was constantly finding new and usual (to me) flowers growing amongst quaint stone fences in the hearts of centuries old villages. As a result, I was always taking long trips to the local garden centre to fill my little back garden with new and exciting things - rows of hellebores, walls of clematis, pots of nicotiana. I can see now how it helped shape my love of all things flowers and how it still guides and inspires me when I design for my clients.
When not working with flowers, you can find me at my local coffee shop sipping on a cappuccino, at home in the kitchen, baking up a storm - from brownies to bonbons, pavlovas swimming in peach caramel and the perfect peppermint bark, I love creating with food and I especially love eating it! And, lastly, and most importantly, being a mom to the best little boy in the world (definitely 100% biased).
